This course will help all those who want to master in automation testing. It will help beginners to learn Selenium with Java coding skills in writing best optimized code for Automating test-cases.

In this course, you will find everything about 1. Selenium Webdriver (Java) with examples 2. Eclipse Techniques 3. TestNG Framework 4. Core Java 5. How to write testcases and automate them using Selenium and TestNG framework. Students will learn how to use TestNG framework for testing.

All basic concepts related to TestNG are covered in this course. Students will be able to create testcases based on the project they work on. Students will learn core Java concepts required for Selenium.

Wherever basic Java concepts are needed, they are explained in simple words. By the end of the course, Students will be able to develop an awesome Test Automation framework. Students you can clear any Interview and can Lead Entire Selenium Automation Project from Design Stage.

Topics Covered in This Course

This course provides comprehensive training in Selenium WebDriver with Java, Eclipse, Maven, and TestNG, starting with the setup and configuration of the development environment. You will learn how to hide projects in Eclipse Package Explorer, install the Maven/m2eclipse plugin, add Maven and Selenium dependencies through pom.xml, format and align code, and debug Selenium programs using Eclipse breakpoints.

The course covers the fundamentals of Selenium WebDriver and browser automation, including launching Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers. You will learn different Selenium locators such as ID, name, class name, link text, CSS selectors, and XPath, including absolute and relative XPath. It also explains how to interact with static and auto-suggestion dropdowns, checkboxes, radio buttons, iframes, JavaScript alerts, and authentication popups.

You will learn advanced browser and WebDriver operations, including switching between frames and windows, returning to the default frame, counting frames, taking full and partial screenshots, scrolling webpages and tables vertically and horizontally, uploading files, retrieving CSS property values, entering text without sendKeys(), closing versus quitting the browser, and identifying broken links. The course also covers handling insecure or untrusted certificates, adding Chrome extensions at runtime, configuring proxies and proxy authentication, and setting download paths in both Chrome and Firefox.

A major section focuses on Selenium synchronization and user interactions. You will learn implicit, explicit, and fluent waits and understand the differences between them. Mouse actions such as hover, click, double-click, right-click, and drag-and-drop are covered along with keyboard actions and Selenium key events. The course also demonstrates how to select dropdown values using Selenium’s Select class and how to work with scrollable web tables.

The course provides extensive training in the TestNG testing framework, including installation and the creation of your first TestNG program. You will learn how to execute multiple test cases, configure and control test execution through testng.xml, prioritize tests, include and exclude methods using regular expressions, run tests at the package level, and use TestNG annotations such as @BeforeMethod, @AfterMethod, @BeforeClass, @AfterClass, @BeforeTest, @AfterTest, @BeforeSuite, and @AfterSuite.

Advanced TestNG concepts include groups, priorities, helper attributes, dependencies, timeouts, assertions, parameters, DataProviders, listeners, soft assertions, parallel testing, and report generation. The course also includes a real-time Selenium Maven TestNG mini-project to demonstrate how these concepts can be combined into a practical automation framework.

Finally, you will learn how to build maintainable Selenium automation frameworks using the Page Object Model and Page Factory. The course covers parameterizing test data through testng.xml, reading test data from Excel files using Apache POI, reading configuration information from properties files, handling multiple browser windows, and organizing Selenium projects using reusable framework components. By the end, you will have practical knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, Java, Maven, Eclipse, TestNG, data-driven testing, reporting, synchronization, browser handling, and framework design.
